UK based production collective and online record label, Digital Animal was founded by Chris Thompson and partner Ann-Marie Taggart in 2001.

Digital Animal fuse electronic production, guitars and traditional song writing to create melodic genre hopping records with a core of guest collaborators. As well as producing and promoting artists and media projects DA stage live, DJ, and acoustic shows. DA have released material on Lucky 7's, a subsidiary of London based Breakbeat/Electro independent 10 Kilo (www.10kilo.com).

In 2004 Digital Animal formed D A Recordings Ltd and Music Service Provider, www.emusu.com, empowering independent record companies and artists ‘own brand’ ecommerce solutions and digital music distribution.
